From March 23 to 25, the Happiness in Practice project brings together healthcare professionals, educators, seniors and community participants for three days of shared learning in Valencia.

Hosted at the Valencia Public Library (Pilar Faus) and the Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia, the workshop explores the connections between art, health and well-being through three distinct experiences: a reading club and community encounter, an empathy circle with healthcare professionals, and a guided art session on light, shadow and happiness.

Community Emotional Map (CEM)

_CEM-EN.jpg

The Community Emotional Map (CEM) is a participatory tool developed within the Happiness in Practice project to understand collective well-being and build shared awareness. It is not a geographical map, but a map of meaning: a visual, reflective and collective device that makes emotions, care and cohesion visible. This guide presents the methodology — its five levels, the nine facilitation phases, and the field experiences in Modena and Valencia — so that educators, facilitators and community organisations can replicate it in their own contexts.

The Happiness Toolkit is the main output of the project: a practical, open-access guide to bring well-being, emotional awareness and community resilience into adult education. Download it, use it and adapt it freely in your own context. Available in English, Italian, Spanish and French.

Happiness in Practice
