🌿 Transforming Challenges into Shared Happiness: our online final conference

7 July 2026, we shared a truly special moment: the online final conference of the Erasmus+ project Happiness in Practice — Positive Psychology & Community Resilience. 💛🌍

And we say it with sincere joy: the event reached 122 registrations 🎉, exceeding our initial target and confirming just how strong the interest is in practical, accessible, community-rooted approaches to emotional well-being.

A meeting that crossed borders

More than a presentation, the conference was a genuine space for dialogue and exchange 💬. Gathered around the same screen were people from many countries: facilitators, educators, social workers, psychologists, students and volunteers, each with their own story and their own language.

From the very first minutes, the atmosphere was open and welcoming. Cameras switched on little by little, greetings arrived in several languages, and what could have been a simple final report turned into a living conversation among people who work every day to build more connected, resilient communities. 🌱

Voices from the participants

The heart of the meeting was the people themselves.

Someone joining from Ukraine shared their search for tools to stay grounded and to find happiness even in the hardest of times — an invitation to reflect on what resilience truly means. A psychologist from Turkey spoke about her wish to better support the teenagers and young adults she works with. From a project in Ireland came a beautiful question about inclusion: when we make the effort to include everyone, it isn't only those once excluded who benefit, but the whole community. And someone working in Norway with young and vulnerable people highlighted the value of non-formal education that is welcoming and, at the same time, grounded in solid methods.

It was these exchanges — on positive psychology, empathy circles, storytelling, laughter yoga, theatre and non-formal education — that gave the day its full meaning. ✨

What we shared

During the conference we looked back on the main results of our European journey across Italy, Spain and Belgium 🇮🇹 🇪🇸 🇧🇪, showing how the tools born within the project can be used and adapted in different contexts.

All our resources — the Happiness Toolkit 🧰, the multilingual website 🌐, the Community Emotional Map 🗺️ and the growing Happiness Community of Practice 🤝 — are open and freely available. You can find them all here: 👉 happinesspractice.com

A project that continues beyond the project ♻️

The conference also strengthened the sustainability of our work: the Toolkit, the website, the Community Emotional Map and the Community of Practice will remain available well beyond the project's lifetime, ready to be used, adapted and shared across many different local contexts. 🌍🌿

That is why we warmly invite educators, facilitators, social workers, organisations and professionals working with communities to explore the resources and join the Community of Practice. 🤲https://www.happinesspractice.com/es/groups

Thank you 💛

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part, to our partners and to all who collaborated to make this journey possible. 🙏

Together, we can keep transforming challenges into shared happiness. 🌱✨
