The Happiness in Practice Calendar: a daily companion for well-being
Well-being doesn't come from grand gestures. It grows from small ones — a mindful pause, a kind word to yourself, a curious glance at the world around you.
This is the belief at the heart of the Happiness in Practice Calendar: a practical, accessible, and living resource designed to support educators, participants, and communities in cultivating happiness day by day.
A calendar that grows with you
The Calendar is part of our Toolkit for everyday well-being — a collection of tools developed within the Erasmus+ project Happiness in Practice to translate Positive Psychology into concrete actions that anyone can take.
Every four months we publish a new edition, with simple prompts to help you reflect, connect, and take small steps toward a happier daily life. This isn't about ambitious goals or personal revolutions: it's about presence, attention, and care — toward yourself and toward others.
This edition: September – December 2025
The four months of this edition trace both an inward and outward journey:
September invites us to take care of ourselves — to speak to ourselves with kindness, to recognise our strengths, and to give ourselves permission to slow down.
October opens us to gratitude and hope — to notice what is going well, and to take small steps toward what truly matters.
November sparks curiosity and openness — to discover new perspectives, connect with different people, and allow ourselves to be surprised.
December turns us toward others — through gestures of kindness, deep listening, generosity, and presence.
A journey from within to the world. From self-care to community care.
How to use the calendar
Use it however feels right: one prompt a day, a weekly reflection, or simply a reminder that well-being is built through small, intentional daily acts. Share it with your students, your group, or the people you care about.
